return of the cs1x

i’ve had a yamaha cs1x floating around for years, and decided to hook it back up recently, as a replacement for my korg microkontrol (i’m sick of mini keys tbh). as a synth it’s a complete pain in the ass to program and really shows its age next to the blofeld. also you can only really sequence one thing at a time, but in the spirit of experimentation i’ve decided to learn it inside out and see what can be got from it. some of the kicks are great, very deep and dubby…makes me want a proper drum synth…
