dataslut - alimbic
this week i’ve been working very hard on the new miaoux miaoux e.p., which i’m super excited about - in the meantime here’s a new dataslut track that i’m also quite pleased with. it’s late night dubstep made using all my studio hardware, as follows:
yamaha cs1x - kick and percussion
mpc1000 - samples, claps and hats
kaoss pad - sample reverb
blofeld - synth
tracked out in a single take. structure was improvised using the mpc’s track mutes. much like the jigsaw pictured above, which a + i finished the other day, it’s all about getting things in the right place. enjoy!
