yesterday i had the great pleasure of recording a composition of mine with three members of the royal scottish national orchestra, as part of a collaboration with green door studios. it was such a pleasure to sit in a room and hear music that you’d bashed out in your head played by skilled musicians. they seemed to pick it up very quickly and we had a finished recording in 6 hours from start to finish.

you can hear the piece right here - it’s a strange, dark little thing for cello, viola and clarinet. the engineers said it sound very hitchcock, hehe. it’s called “minaret”.
